My Younger Sister's Bridal Shower

Last weekend I traveled to Pittsburgh with my Mom to visit with my younger sister and to attend her bridal shower on Saturday that was hosted by her future mother-in-law and sister-in-laws.  It was a lovely shower at a local restaurant and I enjoyed meeting my sister's future family and some of her friends.

As my sister opened her gifts I was asked if I could make a bouquet with the ribbons/bows that came off the packages.  I'm sitting on the far left.

This is the ribbon/bow bouquet that I made for my sister that she will carry during the rehearsal the night before the wedding. 

My sister got teary-eyed when her fiancé surprised her with a bouquet of her favorite flowers that he had delivered to the shower since he was working.

My sister and me...I think it was the first time I was wearing a dress shorter than hers and heels higher than hers :)

Our family is looking forward to the wedding and my children are especially looking forward to celebrating their Aunt's wedding in October!
